I am going to grab another one (I have several of these trackballs on different computers) and see if that has the same problem, but I thought I’d see if anybody has any suggestions. I find it unlikely that the hardware coincidentally developed a fault at the same time as the upgrade, so either Fedora 30’s driver has an issue, or 29 was covering up an existing hardware problem somehow. I don’t know where to go for anything more informative, if it’s available.

I have a ThinkPad T450s which has been working flawlessly in Fedora 29.
